Feedback can be bad for business
How often do you do it? Once a week? Once a month? Once a year? You probably don't think you do it often enough, but doing it too often can be bad for business.
Research indicates that while it is great to give people feedback on their work and that, to a point, the more feedback the better there is such a thing as too much information. Feedback takes time to understand and respond to that can be demanding both for the brain and the emotions, even if it's good feedback. So make sure people know you'll guide them if they want you to, but also give them the space to get on with their work.

The ISTQB Foundation Syllabus is a collection of knowledge around software testing, but it is often criticised and seen as not valuable. Is it the syllabus itself that is not valuable?
The syllabus has been compiled in an attempt to collate and codify software testing knowledge. It can be used as a start point for building skills or a reference set for expanding existing knowledge. The syllabus is often seen as prescriptive and limiting in it’s approach to testing, is that your perception? If so, why? What messages does having such a syllabus send to testers, developers, business analysts and managers in the world of IT?
